In celebration of WORLD ART DAY 2018Malkerson Gallery 408 sponsored the creation and installation of a multinational inspired sculpture in Carrizozo, New Mexico. The project consists of multiple individual art works created by local artists which were installed in the sculpture garden on 12th Street. Each piece represents a different country and incorporates the colors of that country’s flag as a primary part of the work.
A procession of artists with their poles (transformed into “talking sticks”) walked together to deliver them to the installation spot on Friday, April 13, 2018 . Limina Gallery hosted a Margarita refresher after the installation work was complete.
