Artists throughout history have made artworks in response to the things they see, touch, feel, hear, and live. Present day, we continue to collect objects, images, ideas, and materials and, from them, create new iterations of things past, present and future. As we participate in this process, we reflect on the impactful and aspire to continuously expand the field of human expressions that become real through the gatherings intrinsic in life …

In the context of this exhibition, MONTAGE means, “the art or process of making a composite picture by bringing together into a single composition a number of different pictures or parts and arranging these so that they form a blended whole,” and BLOOMING references the notion of “things that are flourishing, prospering, living, and producing.”  In “ A BLOOMING MONTAGE ” we show that myriad objects, inspirations, colors, marks, symbols and thoughts combine to form moments of beauty, meaning and expression.  We celebrate how Artists combine and interpret elements of life and existence, and with them create something new, unique, individual, and simultaneously an integration.

The IAA/USA’s theme for WORLD ART DAY 2025 is “Make Art. Do Art. Be Art.” In unity with and in ardent support of IAA/USA and World Art Day, Limina Arts Foundation is pleased present “A Blooming Montage”.
